TRAVELBASE
Hoogtestage is probably ‘the’ ski- and snowboard vacation for the Flemish students, who don’t want to worry about their money. Every winter, thousands of students go to the ski resorts, allowing themselves to ski all day and party all night. Travelbase asked to restyle the logo and work with new colours they had in mind; a mixture of blue and green. Instead of going for just another mountain mark/logo, I took inspiration from the familiar ski glasses everyone wears. I added a glare to the glasses to make it feel more ‘alive’. Next I could use this one element to build a whole new branding identity, these glasses would become the thread between the different POS- and branding materials. I had the chance to create the design for all of the different locations. It went from fraternity sigils, sweaters and flags to banners, t-shirts, lanyards, room stickers and bracelets.
